The Odyssey

Phaeacia

Picture
Odysseus sails from Calypso's island to Phaeacia on his raft. He washes up on the shores of Phaeacia and was clothed and fed. The next day, the king and queen there implore him of his travels. He indulges them and tells about his voyage and stays there for three days. Once his identity is revealed, King Alcinous sends him off on one of Phaeacia's magically swift boats.
